Celiac disease affects one of 133, or roughly one percent of the US population. Due to a lack of familiarity with modern diagnostic algorithms, 95% of those affected are undiagnosed or misdiagnosed. The accredited learning modules offered here address this problem by giving the learner the most up-to-date information based on peer-reviewed research so they can both recognize the undiagnosed person with celiac, and support those who have secured a diagnosis.
The Celiac Learning Center's on-line enduring learning activities are designed to meet the demands of the individual learner as well as the institution. The accredited learning modules are PowerPoint visual programs. GREAT Kitchens has an audio component too. All courses have supplemental PDF documents to download and retain for future reference and to support learner retention.
