Accreditation:
NFCA is an accredited provider with the Commission on Dietetic Registration, the credentialing agency for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. The course is accredited for 1.5 CPE.

There are three parts to this course:

  1. Download and read the GREAT Dietitians - Healthcare and Clinical Settings Manual.
  2. View the on-line visual presentation.
  3. Complete the Quiz and download the certificate to secure CPE credits with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.

A minimum score of  80% is required to receive credit.

  • Define the etiology, manifestations and prevalence of celiac disease.
  • Support food service personnel with the development and implementation of a gluten-free menu.
  • Be a resource to implement the gluten-free diet facility-wide in a healthcare facility.
